يقوم البحث على محورين رئيسين؛ يتناول المحور الأول سمات الخيال عند الرافعي فيتوقف عند المباحث التالية : 1-وضوح امتزاج الخيال بالمنطق العقلي، وقد وضح ذلک من خلال کتابات الأديب ، وکذلک قي اختياره لموضوعاته ، 2-وضوح تأثير الثقافة الإسلامية ، وقد تناول البحث أثر الثقافة الإسلامية من خلال الصور وأسلوب الکتابة أما المحور الثاني: فيتناول دور القارئ في أدب الرافعي؛ ويتناول المباحث التالية: المفارقة، ويقصد بها مفاجأة القارئ بغير المعتاد من المعاني والصور ، وکذلک في مجال الکتابات القصصية، 2-مخاطبة القارئ بشکل مباشر خاصة وأن کثيرا من کتاباته نشرت في البداية في الصحف أو بشکل غير مباشر بتوجيهه لتبني رأي محدد 3-استخدام الحجج العقلية ممتزجة بالخيال فيما يخص الکتابة المنهجية
The research bases its study on two axes, the first of which discusses the characteristics of Al-Rafiee’s imagination in the following points: 1. The obvious mix between imagination and sound logic, this is seen through the writer’s articles, reflections or any of his writings, in addition to his choice of articles 2. 2. the clear influences of the Islamic culture The second axes addresses the reader's role in the Al-Rafiee’s literature: 1. using irony, which means surprising the reader with unusual choice of language tools. 2. Directly addressing the reader especially that many of his writings were published in newspapers at the first either by _directly addressing the reader_ or indirectly by persuading the reader with a specific opinion or point of view 3. 3.Using logical _points_ mixes with imagination.
